
Fee Schedule – Academic Year 2012-2013 Kindergarten 2 to Year 13

Application Fee(for new students) Amount: 3,000; non-refundable.
Placement Deposit (for new students)
The Placement Deposit is a one-time, refundable, non-interest bearing deposit required to be paid to the school, and is held by the school for the duration of the student’s enrolment. The school has a first right to settle any outstanding fees or amounts owing to the school, either during the student’s attendance at the school, or after the student’s withdrawal, using the Placement Deposit.
The Placement Deposit, after deductions for any amounts owing to the school, will be returned to parents within 45 days after all withdrawal procedures have been completed.

Payment of the Placement Deposit will not, in and of itself, guarantee a school placement; all other admission and school requirements must be met. Furthermore, the Placement Deposit cannot be considered a substitute for any other fees or charges that are otherwise due.
For returning students, if your child(ren) is/are anticipated to pay a different amount of Placement Deposit in the following academic year, parent/guardian must top up the difference, or the school will refund any surplus amount by no later than the end of the current academic year.

- Semester 1 or Annual Tuition Fees must be paid no later than June 15, 2012.
- Semester 2 Tuition Fees must be paid no later than November 15, 2012.
- For mid-year applications, the Tuition Fees will be calculated on a monthly pro-rata basis, calculated based on a 10-month period and inclusive of the month in which the student plans to start attending school. The Tuition Fees should be paid within ten (10) working days after issuance of the Offer of Placement and in any case before the student begins to attend school.
Early Bird Discount
An Early Bird Payment Discount of five per cent (5%) on the annual Tuition Fees only (excluding other school fees), if the full annual 2012-2013 Tuition Fees payment is received by our bank no later than April 15, 2012. (The date of receipt is determined by our bank acknowledgement, so we advise you to allow several lead days to avoid missing the deadline.) Parents/Guardians may enjoy an Annual Payment Discount of three per cent (3%) on the annual Tuition Fees (excluding other school fees), if the full annual 2012-2013 Tuition Fees payment is received by our bank after April 15, 2012 and no later than June 15, 2012. (The date of receipt is determined by our bank acknowledgement, so we advise you to allow several lead days to avoid missing the deadline.)

Settlement of Payments
Any payments received by the school will be applied firstly towards the Placement Deposit, if not yet settled. Any outstanding payments must be settled according to the school fee schedule.
Late Payment Charge
A late payment charge of two per cent (2%) per month, compounded monthly, will be charged on all school fees that are overdue.

1) Bank remittance
Payment can be made by bank transfer payable to the school’s USD or RMB bank account. For easy identification, please forward a copy of your bank remittance advice with your child’s passport name to our Accounts Office. (See below)

2) Pay in person
Small amounts of cash (less than 6,000.00 in RMB) can be accepted at the Huangdao Campus only. Large cash payments (more than 6,000.00 in RMB) are NOT accepted.

Refunds

In case of inconsistencies between the English version of the Withdrawal and Refund Policies and Procedures and the Chinese version of same, the English version shall prevail.
