YCIS Celebrates Stone-laying of the First International Education Park

A stone-laying ceremony for the BP International Education Park (IEP) was celebrated on May 9, 2012 in Yizhuang, Beijing. IEP is a pioneering model in mainland China that will have the Yew Chung International School (YCIS) for foreign students and the Yew Wah International Education School for local Chinese students. Both schools will be connected by the Scholars International Conference Centre that will promote cross-cultural learning and invite the greater Beijing community to hold seminars and events.

Experiencing China

Bringing Chinese culture into the weekly curriculum is a regular feature at YCIS Qingdao. To make this a real experience and a memory to retain forever, we organise annual four-day field trips for Secondary students in Year 7 upwards.

Early Childhood Education Open Week

At YCIS Qingdao we believe children flourish in the company of interested, responsive adults who understand their development and teach them accordingly, based on good character principles. During the week of April 23-27 the doors were open to families within the community, allowing the first-hand experience and enjoyment of our Early Childhood Education (ECE).

World Travelling Storyteller and Artist Residency
