Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the practical and theoretical study of computers and how we use them.

The world today is connected by technology. Not a day goes by where we do not interact with it. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is the practical and theoretical study of computers and how we use them. It prepares pupils to participate in the rapidly changing world in which work and other activities are increasingly transformed by access to varied and developing technologies. Pupils use ICT tools to find, explore, analyse, exchange and present information responsibly, creatively and with discrimination. They learn how to employ ICT to enable rapid access to ideas and experiences from a wide range of people, communities and cultures.
