The Lower Secondary English Intensive Class has been learning about our school, and today they participated in a practical activity to use what they are studying by being a YCIS tour guide. This time they “toured” teachers and other staff around the school, but in the future, we hope they will be able to help lead new and prospective students and other visitors around.

The students felt nervous before this activity began, but afterwards they all reported how they enjoyed the experience and built their confidence. The YCIS English Intensive Program (EIP) aims at giving students practical speaking experiences like these to quickly boost students’ language ability in fun and engaging methods.
