International Day finally arrived! The campus was transformed into a vibrant international stage, celebrating the rich tapestry of global cultures.

The day kicked off with an exhilarating Parade of Nations in the gym, where students donned traditional attire representing various countries. This captivating display immersed everyone in a cultural feast, showcasing the diverse and colourful fusion of world cultures.

This year's International Day featured several unprecedented activities, offering students fresh experiences. After the parade, primary students were invited to secondary classrooms, where older students passionately shared stories about different countries and fairy tales from around the globe.

In art rooms, the mosaic competition and the photo collage attracted students’ participation. Students used stickers to create artworks representing various countries, enhancing their understanding of different cultures through hands-on experience.

International Cuisine is an absolute must. Thanks to the YCIS Qingdao Parent Organisation for preparing a variety of delicious food, allowing students to enjoy the world's flavours within the school.

International Day embodies YCIS's educational philosophy of openness and inclusivity, fostering a multicultural environment that encourages students to respect and understand diversity, care for the community, and grow into global citizens with international perspectives and open-minded character.
