As another school year draws to a close, the YCIS Qingdao community came together to celebrate the achievements, growth, and milestones of our students.

Throughout the year, students have challenged themselves academically, explored their passions through the arts and sports, and contributed meaningfully to the school community. This special occasion provided an opportunity to recognise those accomplishments and look ahead to the journeys still to come.

The morning ceremony brought together students, teachers, and families to celebrate a year of learning and growth.

For our younger students, it was a chance to reflect on the progress they had made throughout the year. For Year 6 students, the Completion Ceremony marked an important milestone as they prepared to leave Primary and begin the next stage of their educational journey.

The event opened with a series of student performances that showcased creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm. Through music, song, and celebration, students shared the many ways they had grown during the academic year.

Growth is rarely defined by a single moment. Instead, it is built through everyday experiences — through perseverance, curiosity, kindness, and the willingness to keep trying.

Congratulations to all our Primary students on a rewarding and memorable year. May the lessons you have learned, the friendships you have built, and the confidence you have gained continue to guide you as you embrace the opportunities and challenges ahead.

In the afternoon, Secondary students gathered to celebrate another year of achievement and personal development.

Throughout the academic year, students have developed critical thinking skills through inquiry and discussion, demonstrated responsibility through service learning, and explored their interests through academics, leadership, sports, and the arts.

Whether pursuing IGCSE, IBDP, or A-Level studies, our students have continued to challenge themselves, grow in independence, and prepare for the opportunities that lie ahead.

For our Year 13 graduates, the day carried a special significance.

Graduation marks the culmination of years of dedication, perseverance, and growth. As they prepare to begin university studies across the world, our graduates leave YCIS Qingdao equipped not only with academic knowledge, but also with the values, perspectives, and resilience that will support them throughout their lives.

The friendships formed, the challenges overcome, and the guidance received from teachers and families have all become part of their story — memories that will continue to inspire them long after they leave campus.

As one chapter closes, another begins.
