Though summer holidays are many students’ favourite time of the year, returning to school in August is also very exciting. Pulling backpacks from closets, shopping for stationery and restocking pencil cases with new supplies remind us of the great memories from previous years and fill us with excitement towards making new memories.

We welcome our students this week, with many new faces joining the YCIS Qingdao family. Our campus now has more students than ever, with families from 25 different countries.

This year, YCIS Qingdao also welcomes new teachers from the United States, New Zealand, Europe and South Africa.

We look forward to a fun and exciting year of learning ahead!
