From November 16-17, the QISN Volleyball tournament was held. After the slightly disappointing results of the ACAMIS tournaments, both YCIS Qingdao Mens and Women’s teams were raring to go.

Our teams demonstrated exemplary sportsmanship and impressive volleyball skills throughout the tournament, amazing audiences with super saves and fantastic plays. Our girls played really well, developing further as individuals and as a team, however they were disappointingly knocked out in the quarter finals.

Our boys finished second in their group. However, they kept their heads up and played a phenomenal game against other international schools for third place and coming out top as eventual winners after three sets. The boys demonstrated exceptional team spirit, encouraging each other after mistakes and congratulating each other after every success. They also took home the sportsmanship award for their performances.

Volleyball season is now over, and we look forward to another great season next year. And now on to Basketball season!!GO STINGRAYS!
