As the most important Chinese festival of the year, Spring Festival rings out the old year and rings in the new year. High hanging lanterns and new year decorations all work to build a joyful Chinese New Year atmosphere at YCIS Qingdao.It’s an excellent opportunity to celebrate the Chinese new year together. Meanwhile, students participated in a Chinese culture learning journey with great fun.

ECE children who wore traditional Chinese clothes joined their ECE Chinese New Year Temple Fair. Tiger Painting, Streamed Bread Making, Ring Toss, Chinese New Year Market, and various celebrating activities brought kids the happiest Chinese New Year memories.

All primary students took part in an exciting display of Tiger theme activities. Traditional Chinese games, new year dancing, clothing design and new year handicraft, all those artistic and cultural activities delivered the most joyful Chinese culture knowledge to students.

Secondary students explored the magic of the Chinese five elements. The experimental activities like Fortune in King is Coming, Big Landlord and Fashion Show island helped develop students’ interest in Chinese Culture and led to increased cultural respect.

The Chinese New Year temple fair was definitely the highlight of the whole celebration. New year flash dance, talent show, and traditional songs and dances delighted the crowd. YCIS students inspired us with their creativity and talent once again.
